Delete Your EmberPath Account

You can permanently delete your EmberPath account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this, depending on whether you still have the app installed.

Option 1: Delete from within the app (instant)

If you have EmberPath installed:

1. Open EmberPath and log in
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Delete account (below Log out)
4. Confirm the deletion

This is immediate and permanent — there is no waiting period, and you don't need to contact us separately.

Option 2: Request deletion by email (no app required)

If you no longer have the app installed, or can't log in, email us at shashank999n@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account and request account deletion. We will delete your account and data within 7 days and confirm by email once it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile (email, name)
• All transactions, budgets, categories, and recurring rules
• Group expense data you're a part of (your membership, shared expenses, and settlements)
• Your subscription record
• Any push-notification device token

What doesn't get deleted automatically

Deleting your EmberPath account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. If you have an active Premium subscription, cancel it separately in the Google Play Store to stop future billing — deleting your account alone will not do this.
