These terms govern your use of EmberPath ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
EmberPath is a personal expense-tracking and budgeting app. It is a tool to help you record and organize your own financial information — it does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice, and nothing in the app should be treated as such.
You agree not to: - Use the app for any unlawful purpose - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data - Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure - Reverse-engineer the app beyond what's permitted by applicable law
If you use group expense-splitting, you're responsible for the accuracy of amounts, splits, and settlements you enter. We are not a party to any debt or payment between group members — the app only helps you track and calculate who owes what.
The app is provided "as is." We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will always be accurate — you're responsible for verifying your own financial records. Always double-check figures that matter (e.g. for tax filing).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including financial decisions made based on data in the app.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
